Core Perception Algorithms Engineer

This position is for a talented individual with excellent C++ skills and demonstrated development and implementation experience of real time, perception algorithms for unstructured scene understanding. The ideal candidate will have specialist knowledge in machine perception techniques with experience working with multiple types of sensory inputs for robot perception.

Core Skills and Experience:

  • experience in working with RGB-D cameras, Stereo Cameras, and LIDAR
  • real time machine perception algorithms prototyping, implementation and development in C++ for autonomous mobile platforms
  • experience with CUDA/OpenGL development and parallel algorithm implementation
  • experience working with OpenCV, Boost, and Eigen
  • familiarity with Robot Operating System

Minimum Requirements:

  • M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; Computer Vision/Robotics
  • 3 – 5 years experience or demonstrated technical ability through significant work projects or research publications
